Of all the unique Broncos that Maxlider Brothers Customs has sold over the years, this Aqua 1966 restoration stands out as an exceptionally rare build featuring an original, uncut BUDD body! Some of the earliest production models of the Ford Bronco featured body panels stamped by the BUDD corporation, an independent firm contracted by the blue oval for help with prototyping. For true collectors, this is one of the many details that distinguishes this Bronco as a founding father among a sea of cheap restorations.

Powered by a beautiful rebuilt 302 V8 mated to an automatic transmission, this build retains its original metal dash and original refurbished frame, but enhances the ride quality with premium upgrades like the brand new brake & fuel system and Borgeson power steering. Many period correct stock-style components are included, such as:

- Stock heater (rebuilt)
- Original frame (reconditioned)
- Dana 20 transfer case (rebuilt)
- Factory style paint finish with clear coat
- Original wiring harness
- Stock Ford dash cluster
- Stock 1966 dash control bezels
- Factory 1977 column and collapsible shaft

This project was originally handled by our frequent collaborator and Ford restoration legend Randy Roberts, and drives / shifts / sounds as good as it looks. We built on that foundation to create an even better Bronco with more of our signature aesthetic touches, including a a brown diamond stitched interior (choose any color!) with matching door panels and a black Rampage soft top.
